MANHATTAN, IL — A Joliet man was killed in a Sunday night rollover wreck.
James Chestnut, 73, was heading north on Cedar Road when he ran his car into the embankment near Route 52, flipped over and landed in a field about 8:45 p.m.
Chestnut was taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox where he was pronounced deceased in the emergency room about 9:15 p.m.

No one else was in Chestnut’s car and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.
The cause and manner of Chestnut’s death are pending the results of an autopsy and the police investigation.
