1 Man Shot, Another Stabbed In Joliet Township: Police
The case is under investigation and there is no ongoing threat connected to the incident, police said.
JOLIET TOWNSHIP, IL — One man was shot and another was stabbed on Tuesday in Joliet Township, according to police.
Will County sheriff’s deputies responded around 11:45 a.m. to a reported shooting in the 1400 block of Elgin Avenue, where they found a 66-year-old man shot in the leg, police said, adding he was taken to a hospital.
A second man received medical care at the scene for a stab wound, according to police.
