JOLIET, IL — Joliet resident Marinko Kraljevic scratched a 100X The Money ticket and instantly won $100,000. “When I saw the prize amount, I was very surprised!” he said when he presented his ticket at the Illinois Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.
Kraljevic has lived in Joliet for 10 years. He bought his winning ticket at Shell, 2350 Plainfield Road, in Crest Hill, and took it home to scratch. He plans to share the windfall with his family.

Shell received a bonus of $1,000, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. 100X The Money is a $20 instant ticket featuring four top prizes of $4,000,000 and eight prizes of $100,000 available to be won.
