2 Wounded When Gunman Fires Into Large Crowd On The Hill
The crowd was able to provide a vague description of the shooter, police said.

The men were standing among a crowd on Fairmont between Robin and Cardinal lanes shortly after 1:30 a.m. when they were shot.
Police found one of the men, a 20-year-old, still on the scene with five bullet wounds. He had been shot three times in the left arm and twice in the back. Paramedics transported the man to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
While police were still at the hospital, a 31-year-old man arrived with a bullet wound to his right big toe. He had been in the same group when the gunman opened fire.
The large number of witnesses were able to tell police that the shooter was about 6-feet-tall, was wearing dark clothing and had “bad skin.”
A couple was shot just blocks away less than two days before. A 20-year-old woman was hit in the elbow and a 21-year-old man took a bullet to the back of his head — but didn’t even realize it until after he got to the hospital, police said.
