200 New Nike Sneakers, Backpacks To Be Given Away At Joliet West By Former NBA Pro Alando Tucker

JOLIET, IL —Fresh off giving out 500-plus brand-new Nike sneakers and 500 Nike backpacks to Chicago students on September 5, the Arcitec Foundation and The Athlete’s Foot are bringing their Back2School Kicks initiative home to Joliet. The event will distribute 200 pairs of new Nike shoes and 200 Nike backpacks to Joliet-area students on Saturday at Joliet West High School.

“Back2School Kicks is about more than sneakers – it’s about building confidence, and showing our students that their city supports them,” said Alando Tucker, founder of the Arcitec Foundation. “As someone who grew up here, I’m proud to partner with The Athlete’s Foot and our local leaders to make sure Joliet kids start the year ready.”
