2nd Killer in Joliet Man's Beating Death Arrested, Taken to Juvenile Jail: Cops
The second killer is only 17 years old, police said.

The unnamed 17-year-old was arrested Friday night and taken to River Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
Also arrested on murder charges Friday night was 19-year-old Blaique Morgan. Morgan was locked up in the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Morgan and the younger teen allegedly murdered Robert Bielec outside his Houston Avenue home. Morgan and Bielec live next-door to each other.
An unidentified person who lived with Bielec reportedly told deputies of hearing a conversation outside their Houston Avenue home and then a loud noise shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday.
“The individual went outside and discovered the victim ... on the ground (and) unresponsive,” police said.
Deputy Chief Rick Ackerson of the Will County Sheriff’s Department said Morgan and the other teen killed Bielec “over a long-standing dispute.” Bielec’s goddaughter, Angela Zamora, said she knew nothing of the dispute.
An autopsy performed Friday showed Bielec had been killed by blunt force trauma, according to Will County Coroner Patrick O’Neil’s office.
Zamora said Bielec loved to ride his motorcycle. Bielec’s former girlfriend, Debra Jackson, said the police stopped by her residence to speak with her Friday but she had no information for them.
“I’m a former girlfriend, one of about three and a half, four years ago,” said Jackson.
“I was sorry to hear it happened, but I don’t know anything about it,” she said.
In February, Morgan was charged with attacking two Joliet police officers. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of battery. A felony charge of aggravated battery to a police officer was dismissed.
Morgan was scheduled to appear in bond court Monday. The younger teen was to appear in juvenile court.
