$550,000 Lucky Day Lotto Win For Shorewood Woman

SHOREWOOD, IL — Shorewood resident Concetta Favia won a $550,000 Lucky Day Lotto prize when her Quick Pick ticket matched all five numbers — 01 - 07 - 26 - 37 - 43 — in the Friday, March 24, evening drawing. When asked about her plans for the windfall she said, “I put the money in the bank for now. I plan to share it with my family."

An occasional Lucky Day Lotto player, Favia said that when she buys a ticket, she always chooses a Quick Pick. She bought her winning ticket at Shell, 20755 W. Renwick Road, in Crest Hill. Shell received a bonus of $5,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. More than 20,900 players won prizes ranging from $1 to $200 in this drawing.
