5th-Grade Teacher Jailed For Sex With 12-Year-Old Student: Cops
The Minooka man taught fifth-grade social studies at Dirksen Junior High, police said.

Kyle Camp, 36, was charged with the predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. He was locked up in the Grundy County jail Friday night.
In addition to teaching social studies at Dirksen Junior High School in Joliet, Camp also coached basketball and soccer, police said.
On Friday, a Joliet police detective was reportedly told by a Joliet West High School student that Camp had sex with a 12-year-old. The child’s sister spoke with detectives and officers were sent to Dirksen to interview Camp, police said.
By the time the cops got there, school officials had already removed Camp from the junior high, police said. Officers then went to his home on Maplewood Drive in Minooka and took him into custody.
Camp had sex with the student in the last month, police said.
