8 Charges For Plainfield Area Man: JPD
Will County Judge Art Smigielski issued a warrant for Joliet police to arrest 26-year-old Jeffrey Behun for aggravated domestic battery.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police have arrested 25-year-old Jeffery Behun in connection with a violent incident nearly two weeks ago involving allegations of strangling a woman.
Wednesday's warrant for Behun's arrest was signed by Will County Judge Art Smigielski. Behun lives in Joliet near Shorewood and Plainfield.
Behun faces two counts of aggravated domestic battery and six counts of domestic battery. He was taken into the Will County Jail on Thursday night.

According to the criminal complaint, Behun strangled the woman on March 9, grabbed her around the neck, bit her finger, struck her in the head multiple times, grabbed her about the body and bit her about the body.
