'Active Incident' Under Investigation In Joliet: Police

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police were on the scene of what they described as an "active incident" just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said in a social media alert.

Police did not provide details, but said they were investigating an incident in the 1100 block of Westshire Drive on the city's west side.

Police said there was no threat to the public, adding, "further information will be provided as it becomes available."
