Fire At Subway Restaurant Closes Down Section Of Jefferson Street: Joliet Police

JOLIET, IL — Eastbound lanes of Jefferson Street were closed Monday afternoon as crews battled a structure fire in the 1700 block of West Jefferson Street, police said in an alert around 3:40 p.m.

In photos provided to Patch by Brian Bessler of the Joliet Area Bar & Restaurant group, flames could be seen on the roof of the Subway sandwich shop, 1710 W. Jefferson St.
