Alcoholic Beverages For Joliet's New Fry The Coop Restaurant On West Jefferson Street?
The Joliet City Council will vote on the recommendation from Mayor Terry D'Arcy at Tuesday night's meeting.

JOLIET, IL — In recent weeks, the city of Joliet opened up its very firstFry The Coop restaurant, located at 2611 West Jefferson Street near the Chipotle Mexican Grill and Potbelly Sandwich Shop. Now, Fry The Coop wants to sell much more than chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. Fry The Coop has applied to the city of Joliet for a Class E liquor license.
Mayor Terry D'Arcy has reviewed the application and believes it's a great idea. The mayor has determined that the issuance of a new liquor license for Fry The Coop would be in the best interests of Joliet. The mayor has urged the City Council to vote in favor of the new liquor license for Tuesday night's meeting.
Fry The Coop filled the storefront vacancy created when Mooyah Burger decided to close its Joliet restaurant after being open for 10 years.
