Angry Lady Ran Car Into ‘Friend’ Twice, Also Punched Him: Cops
They had been having an argument, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A woman twice ran her car into a friend after they argued for unspecified reasons, police said.
Officers were sent over to Indian Head Lane near Stonewall Lane about 2 p.m. Wednesday to look into a report of an accident, police said. When they got there, according to police, they discovered a 34-year-old man had been hit by a car two times, but there was nothing accidental about it.
The man had been sitting in the car with 39-year-old Laura Rodriguez-Vega when they got into an argument, police said. The man got out of the car, and that was when Rodriguez-Vega allegedly drove into him, and then drove into him a second time. She then climbed out of the car and punched the man, police said.

Rodriguez-Vega and the man reportedly told officers they are not romantically involved and are just friends. Neither one was particularly cooperative when questioned by officers, police said.
Rodriguez-Vega was also “somewhat difficult” after she was taken into custody and she struck an officer several times, police said. She was taken to the Will County jail.
