Another Joliet Shooting Victim At Riverwalk Homes Lands In County Jail
No other individuals are in custody from this case, Joliet police advised.

JOLIET, IL —Another out of town citizen, 30-year-old Riverdale resident Catrell Jordan no longer needs to be kept at St. Joe's hospital stemming from last week's gunshot wounds at the Riverwalk Homes public housing complex. Jordan has been taken by the Joliet police to the Will County Jail where he is being charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of a weapon by felon.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, Jordan was identified by the detectives as an additional suspect involved in a shooting at Riverwalk Homes during the evening of June 12.
It is alleged that Jordan fired a weapon during the incident. Jordan sustained two gunshot wounds during the shooting and was transported to a local hospital. He was released from the hospital on Monday. The charges were approved by the Will County State’s Attorney Office following their review of the case.

On Monday, Joliet police revealed that 32-year-old Jonathan Britton of Chicago was arrested and brought to the Will County Jail where he faces charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon by felon, reckless discharge, aggravated discharge of a firearm, possession of ammunition by felon and being an armed habitual offender.
No other individuals are in custody from this case, English noted.
