Anthony's Patron Provokes Fight, Ends Up Being Tasered: Joliet Police
Arnaldo Contreras, 31, was ignoring orders from the security guards to leave as the establishment was closing, Joliet police said.

JOLIET — Several weekends throughout the year, the Joliet Police Department squad cars are summoned to the Anthony's Pub on Voyageur Lane. The latest incident of violent behavior involving one of the customers happened early Sunday morning, right at closing time.
Joliet police noted that out of town resident, Arnaldo Contreras, 31, of Melrose Park, was arrested and given a notice to appear on charges of aggravated battery.
Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said that at around 2:30 a.m., an officer working a special assignment detail at Anthony’s Restaurant and Pub was notified that Contreras was involved in a fight with security officers.

Contreras was ignoring orders from the security guards to leave as the establishment was closing, according to police. While being escorted outside by security, police say Contreras attempted to strike a security guard, but missed, and a fight ensued in which Contreras struck a security guard multiple times.
An officer deployed a Taser on Contreras, and he was placed into custody without further incident. Contreras was deemed to be intoxicated at the time of the incident, and he refused medical attention, police said.
