Woman Screamed, Threw Objects At Home Cut Donuts Employees: Joliet Police
The interior of the business was found heavily damaged, Joliet police revealed.

JOLIET, IL — One of the few Joliet restaurants to remain open 24 hours a day, Home Cut Donuts, was the setting for an overnight arrest involving violent behavior, according to the Joliet police.
The agency said 34-year-old Joliet woman Auctavia Rodriguez was arrested and taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility on two charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer, two crimes of aggravated assault and one criminal damage to property.
Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said that at 3:45 a.m. July 9, officers responded to Home Cut Donuts at 815 W. Jefferson St. for a disturbance. Upon their arrival, police said Rodriguez was screaming at employees and throwing objects inside the store.

Rodriguez left the store and was detained by officers without incident.
However, police said the interior of the business was found heavily damaged. Cash registers had been thrown from the counter, food and beverages were thrown across the store, and furniture and coffee pots were overturned, English revealed.

Witnesses said Rodriguez entered the store, began yelling at employees, and threw cash registers and chairs at them. She then brandished a box cutter and threatened the staff, prompting them to lock themselves in the back room for safety, English said.
After being placed into a squad car, Rodriguez spit on two officers and kicked one of the officers in the torso, English said. Officers determined that she appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance at the time of this incident.
