Attempted Murder, Drunken Driving, Domestic Battery, Disorderly Conduct & More Charges: Police Blotter!

The Joliet police put these people in jail on Sunday.

• Abel Alvarado, 66, of Joliet was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper passing, failing to reduce speed, and failing to notify about an accident.

• Nicholas Metzger, 29, of Joliet was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.

• Mary Lou Ortega, 22, of Joliet was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.

• Maurice Richards, 26, of Mokena was arrested on charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.

• Jose Sanchez, 18, of Fredericktown, Pennsylvania, was arrested on a warrant charging him with disorderly conduct.
