Awful News For Joshua Arms Senior Residences On Rowell Ave.
Joliet's AM radio station, 1340 WJOL broke the news regarding the sudden and unexpected displacement of hundreds of Joshua Arms residents.

JOLIET — Just weeks after the Salem Village nursing home went out of business on Joliet's Rowell Avenue, a different senior citizen high rise directly across the street at 1315 Rowell Avenue has been emptied out because Joshua Arms Senior Residences of LSSI has lost its electricity, according to Joliet's top news radio station.
According to WJOL 1340-AM,about 225 residents of Joshua Arms have had to vacate their dwellings on Rowell Avenue because of the power outage. WJOL's morning show host Scott Slocum indicated that a pipe burst and that prompted a small electrical fire, leaving Joshua Arms without its electicity.
At this stage, it remains unclear how long it will take before the Joshua Arms senior living center is reopened. The power is not expected to return until Friday, at the earliest.
