Bad Blood Leads to Blood on the Barroom Floor: Police
One man slashed another's face with a knife, police said.

JOLIET, IL — Bad blood between two men prompted one to slash the other’s face open with a knife at an east side bar, police said.
Hermenegildo Garcia-Bartolo, 44, was arrested and jailed on charges of aggravated battery and trespassing in connection with the alleged 3:30 p.m. Sunday attack at El Rodeo on East Jackson Street.
Garcia-Bartolo ran into a 33-year-old man with whom he has a “history” of “bad blood,” police said.

Garcia-Bartolo told the other man, “I haven’t forgotten what happened in the past,” then went out to his vehicle to get a knife, police said.
Garcia-Bartolo allegedly returned with the knife and used to slash his rival in the face, slicing open his left cheek and nose.
