Banned From Home Cut Donuts: Joliet Criminal Defendant Released Under SAFE-T-Act
Despite being charged with two felonies, Joliet resident Auctavia Rodriguez cannot be kept in the Will County Jail under the SAFE-T-Act.

JOLIET, IL — After spending two days in the Will County Jail, 34-year-old Joliet resident Auctavia Rodriguez has been let out of the Will County Jail, but Rodriguez will not be making any more visits to the Joliet Home Cut Donuts shop at 815 W. Jefferson St.
According to court records, Will County Judge Derek Ewanic informed Rodriguez on Thursday that she would not be kept in the jail because her criminal charges related to accusations of spitting on multiple police officers are not detainable crimes under the SAFE-T-Act.
However, the judge ordered Rodriguez to have no contact with Home Cut Donuts until further notice from the court. The judge also ordered Rodriguez to undergo disease testing for all diseases.
