Barking Dog Drove Up Sleep-Deprived Old Lady’s Blood Pressure: Lawsuit
The dog has been barking since May 2015, the lawsuit said.

CREST HILL, IL — A neighbor’s barking dog has driven up an old lady’s blood pressure and given her insomnia, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.
Mary Landa, 79, called the police and her condominium association about the dog, her lawsuit said, and she is now suing neighbor Gayle Tamburo.
Tamburo’s dog “began to excessively bark” since before May 2015, the lawsuit said. It allegedly “barks at all hours of the night and day” and “barks for long periods of time on a regular and continuing basis.”

This barking is so bad that it has caused Landa to “have elevated blood pressure, anxiety and insomnia requiring (her) to seek medical attention,” the lawsuit said.
Landa and Tamburo, 51, both live in Aster Drive condominiums, according to the lawsuit.

Landa “has a right to the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of her condominium,” the suit said, but the barking dog is depriving her of that. So she wants at least $50,000.
