Benefit For Man Stricken With Cancer

A benefit was organized for a local man stricken with cancer.
The benefit for Marty Maguire will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Double J Sports Bar, 1001 Essington Road on Saturday, June 18.
Maguire was badly injured in a motorcycle accident when he was 24, according to a friend.
After numerous surgeries and an amputation five years ago, he developed liver cancer and tumors in his lungs, the friend said.
Maguire “wishes is motorists be aware of motorcyclists,” the friend said.
