No License, Birthday DUI For Joliet Man Who Wrecks Red Jeep On Eastern Ave: Joliet PD
Cesar Juarez-Avila was taken to the Joliet Police booking area, where he declined to take a breathalyzer test, the arrest reports reveal.

JOLIET, IL — A 30-year-old Joliet citizen, Cesar J. Juarez-Avila. crashed his red Jeep on the east side of Joliet in the middle of the night, rolling the vehicle over, and then Joliet police showed up and took him away in handcuffs on very serious criminal charges, the arrest report shows.
Juarez was arrested and later released on a Notice to Appear for multiple charges, including Aggravated DUI – No Driver's License, Aggravated DUI – No Insurance, No Valid Driver's License, DUI Alcohol, No Insurance, Improper Lane Usage and Driving Too Fast for Conditions.

On Monday, around 12:30 a.m., the officers at the Joliet Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of Eastern Avenue for a rollover.
The red Jeep was overturned on its roof.

Witnesses informed the officers that the driver of the Jeep was out of the vehicle and was the sole occupant. They also reported they could detect a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Juarez-Avila. The Jeep appeared to have collided with a parked vehicle.
The officers met with the driver of the Jeep, Juarez-Avila. Although he did not have any apparent injuries, he complained of shoulder pain. He provided a temporary driver’s license to the officers and mentioned it was his birthday, admitting to consuming alcohol, the arrest report showed.
Juarez-Avila was transported by ambulance to the hospital due to his shoulder pain and was unable to perform field sobriety tests. He was subsequently placed into custody after being discharged from the hospital. Juarez-Avila was taken to the Joliet Police booking area, where he declined to take a breathalyzer test.
