Biting, Headbutting Convict Charged With Aggravated Battery of Prison Guards: Indictment

He bit two prison guards and headbutted another, according to a criminal indictment.

JOLIET, IL — A convict serving a 25 year prison sentence for shooting a man bit two prison guards and headbutted a third, according to an indictment filed in Will County court.

Darryl Holloway, 23, bit one guard and headbutted another on June 21, then bit the third guard three days later, the indictment said.

Officials from Stateville Correctional Center investigated the two cases and brought the charges against Holloway.

Holloway was scheduled to appear at the Joliet courthouse next month.

Holloway is now at Downstate Menard Correctional Center, according to corrections records.

Holloway was arrested in January 2013. He is serving the 25 years for aggravated battery with a firearm and the aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
