He didn't know he had a bullet in his head until after he got to the hospital.

The 21-year-old man was driving with a 20-year-old woman about 6 p.m. Friday when shots rang out near the corner of Arthur Avenue and Juniper Street. Multiple bullets hit the vehicle and the driver crashed into a parked car.
When firefighters arrived, they determined the young the passenger had suffered a bullet wound to her left elbow. She was taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
The driver was out of the car and walking and talking, police said, but was also taken to Silver Cross due to the injuries he sustained in the crash.
While at the hospital, the wounded man complained of a headache and suffered a seizure. Doctors then realized there was a bullet stuck in the back of his head between the skin and his skull. The bullet was removed during surgery.
The young woman, a Romeoville resident, was transported to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where she also underwent surgery.
