Plainfield's Tritan Plumbing Representative Arrested By Joliet Police

Sarah Kinney-Owano was processed and released on a notice to appear at the Joliet Police Department after turning herself in.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department has made an arrest of 43-year-old Sarah Kinney-Owano in connection with charges of home repair fraud involving her Plainfield business.

According to police official Dwayne English, on July 12, 2024, the Joliet Police Department was notified by a resident in the 17000 block of Honora Drive that they had entered into an agreement with Tritan Plumbing to perform water heater and well tank repairs.

It was alleged that the resident paid over $1,000 to the company for the services they say were never completed, and the money had not been returned, English explained.

He said that Kinney-Owano was identified as a representative of the company.

Following an investigation of this allegation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Kinney- Owano on July 23 for one count of home repair fraud. Kinney-Owano was processed and released on a notice to appear in Will County Courthouse after turning herself in the late evening hours of July 29 to the Joliet Police Department.
