Car Runs Over Pedestrian, 63, On Plainfield Road, Victim Moved To Loyola: Crest Hill PD
Illinois State Police and Will County Sheriff's deputies helped Crest Hill police with Tuesday night's crash involving the pedestrian.

CREST HILL, IL — The Crest Hill Police Department announced that no tickets or criminal charges have been filed in connection with Tuesday night's crash involving a pedestrian along the 2400 block of Plainfield Road. A 63-year-old Crest Hill area man is fighting for survival.
Police Chief Ed Clark said the man has been moved to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, where his injuries left him in critical condition.
Clark said police learned of the crash along Route 30 at 8:50 p.m., and it happened in front of the Speedway gas station. A 59-year-old California man, who was driving a Nissan Versa, stopped immediately after the crash and agreed to blood and urine screens, according to the chief.
