Caton Farm Road Crash Lands Impaired Driver With DUI Charge: Police
Kimberly Glosson performed field sobriety tests and was placed into custody without incident, Joliet police said.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department said a crash on the far western edge of the community has resulted in a DUI arrest for 63-year-old Joliet citizen Kimberly Glosson. She was arrested and released on a notice to appear in court on charges of DUI and DUI – BAC .08 or More.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, at 2:40 p.m. July 6, officers responded to Caton Farm Road and Hel Mar Lane for a crash. English said Glosson was involved in a traffic crash while driving a Lincoln LS eastbound on Caton Farm at Hel Mar Lane.
Her vehicle collided into the rear of another eastbound vehicle, which was struck by a westbound vehicle after this vehicle attempted to turn left onto Hel Mar.

Based upon their observation of Glosson, officers noted that she appeared to be impaired by alcohol, and Glosson said she had consumed alcohol prior to driving, the arrest report noted.
Glosson performed field sobriety tests and was placed into custody without incident. She was also cited for possession of open alcohol by driver after officers discovered an open alcohol container in the vehicle and the vehicle was towed from the scene, English said.
