She attacked a man, woman and child at Walmart, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet woman was jailed Saturday for allegedly carrying out a chemical attack on two adults and at least one child at Walmart.

Davita Davis, 32, was arrested on felony charges of aggravated battery and aggravated battery to a child, and misdemeanor counts of domestic battery and harassment.

The day after Christmas, Davis used a “chemical substance” to attack Jasmine Lee, 25, Michael White, and a child or children with the initials J.E., according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.

Lee has two children with those initials, according to court papers. They are 5 and 7.

Michael White was hit in the face with the unspecified chemical substance, the complaint said.

Davis’ husband and father-in-law are both named Michael White. It was not clear if either man was the Michael White allegedly hit in the face with the chemical substance.

Davis allegedly unleashed her chemical attack at the Walmart on West Jefferson Street, the complaint said.

Davis was listed under the name “Davita Davis” in jail records, but identified as both “Devetta Davis” and “Devetta White” in court papers.

Davis remained in custody Sunday at the Will County jail. Her bond was set at $25,000.
