Chicago Child Molester Captured By Will County Cops
The Chicago man was convicted in Indiana of attempting to molest a child.

Juan Lopez, 42, was arrested and booked into the Will County jail Thursday.
Lopez waived his right to an extradition hearing Friday and was returned to jail.
Lopez was found guilty in Lake County, Indiana, of attempted child molesting. The 2008 conviction carried a 14 year prison sentence but Lopez was released on parole, according to state records. He allegedly violated the terms of his parole and fled the state of Indiana.
Lopez was living in Chicago when he was arrested last week, according to jail records.
Indiana authorities are to pick Lopez up from the jail in Joliet. If they do not, he is scheduled to appear in Will County court again Feb. 5.
