Chicken-N-Spice Prowler Identified: Cops
The burglar broke out a window, slipped inside the downtown chicken joint and stole from the register, police said.

JOLIET, IL — The police have identified the prowler who broke into Chicken-N-Spice last summer, according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.
Alexander Stewart, 24, faces charges of burglary and criminal damage to property for allegedly smashing out a window and stealing cash from the downtown chicken joint’s register in June.
The warrant for Stewart’s arrest says he lives in Frankfort but he has actually been locked up in Stateville Correctional Center since February. He was taken into custody for violating his parole. Stewart was put on parole after serving prison time for a 2014 burglary conviction.

Stewart is scheduled to be released from prison again in July.The warrant for Stewart’s arrest carries a $75,000 bond.
