Cops Want to Keep Mom's 15-Year-Old Car
The mom was high on drugs, driving on a flat tire, had pot and crack in the car, and her kid in the back seat, police said.

The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office filed a forfeiture case against 31-year-old mother Lolita Bennett, who was arrested Friday night after she allegedly drove past a sheriff’s deputy who noticed her left front tire was completely flat and coming apart on Chicago Street.
If prosecutors succeed, the sheriff’s department will take possession of Bennett’s 2001 Pontiac Aztek, which Time listed as one of the 50 worst cars of all time.
Bennett was arrested after failing sobriety tests, police said. Deputies reportedly found crack, marijuana and Bennett’s 5-year-old child in her car.
Bennett was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, endangering the life of a child and driving on unsafe tires. She was taken to the Will County jail.
Bennett’s child was turned over to a relative and her Aztek was towed.
