Couple Flushed Heroin Down Braidwood Motel Toilet But Were Too Slow To Get Rid Of It All: Cops

The couple was jailed on heroin and obstructing justice charges.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — A couple tried to flush their heroin down the toilet when the cops showed up at their Braidwood motel room but couldn’t get rid of it all, police said.

David Rasor, 33, and Rania DeBoard, 32, were captured in their motel room bathroom and booked into Will County jail.

Police reportedly got a tip that Rasor — who had a warrant out for his arrest — was at a local motel and officers headed out to get him about 8 p.m. Thursday.

When the cops got to the motel room, Rasor and DeBoard frantically flushed what appeared to be heroin down the toilet, police said, but were unable to get rid of four bags.

DeBoard and Rasor remain in custody. DeBoard’s bond was set $35,000 and Rasor’s was set at $25,000, according to jail records.
