Cracked Windshield Leads Cops to Crack Rock: Police

The woman threw the crack out her car window but the cops still found it, police said.

A Braidwood woman’s cracked windshield led police to pull her over — but not before she tossed a baggy of crack out her car window, police said.

Robin Hexdall, 49, threw the crack away but an officer still found it, police said, and arrested her on charges of possession of a controlled substance, obstructing justice, and driving with a revoked license.

Hexdall’s arrest was just the latest narcotics case made by Braidwood and Wilmington police.

In recent weeks, two teens were allegedly caught dealing heroin out of a Braidwood motel room, the discovery of liquid methamphetamine in a vehicle forced the evacuation of a Wilmington apartment building, Wilmington police arrested two men the law has identified as “possibly the largest suppliers of heroin to the immediate area,” and two men and a woman were allegedly caught with heroin and needles in a Braidwood house.
