'Dad is Trying to Kill Mom' 7-Year-Old Girl Tells 911 Dispatcher
The cops arrived to find the pregnant mom on the floor screaming — and dad on the floor bleeding from his head, police said.

The 7-year-old daughter called 911 and told a dispatcher, “Daddy is trying to kill mommy,” police said. When officers rushed to her Fairchild Avenue home about 5 a.m. Thursday, they reportedly found the 31-year-old mother on the floor screaming and the father, 35-year-old Love Lee Walker, also sprawled on the floor and bleeding from his head.
The police reportedly learned that the 5-months-pregnant mother, her child and 14-year-old niece had pulled into the driveway and were carrying groceries into the house when they saw Walker coming.
Walker either lives in Joliet or Park Forest, police said, but does not reside at the Fairchild Avenue home.
After Walker, who was armed with a beer bottle, chased the woman and children into the house, he attacked the mother as the niece tried to defend her, police said. Walker allegedly struck the woman and children and tried to bite the niece.
The mother disarmed Walker and handed the bottle off to the niece, police said. The niece reportedly used it to club Walker in the eye.
Walker, the mother and the children all were taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. It was Walker’s second trip to the hospital in two days, police said.
The cops and firefighters were called to the same residence Wednesday to check on Walker, who was allegedly intoxicated, aggressive and punching the walls. He was apparently unconscious when the law arrived so paramedics took him to Silver Cross, police said.
On Thursday, Walker went from the hospital to the Will County jail, where he was booked into custody on charges of home invasion, aggravated battery and domestic battery.
