Dead Outside the Dollar Store - Body Found Behind the Wheel of Compact Car

JOLIET, IL — A dead body turned up behind the wheel of a Chevy Cobalt parked outside the Dollar General on West Jefferson Street.

The dead man had yet to be identified Monday afternoon. He was found shortly after 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the dollar store.

There was no obvious indication how the man died, police said. An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday.
