District 86 Provides Meals For Children
Free Grab & Go meals are available for all children 18 years and younger.
Joliet Public Schools District 86 will now able to offer our free Grab & Go meals for ALL children 18 years and younger.
The meals are available for curbside pick-up on Mondays and Thursdays at Hufford and Washington schools from 6:30-7:30 a.m. and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Dirksen, Gompers, Hufford, and Washington schools. There will be no pick-ups on Monday (September 7) due to the Labor Day holiday. Next week only, meal distributions will take place on Tuesday and Thursday.

Monday meals include enough food for three breakfasts and three lunches and Thursday meals provide food for two breakfasts and two lunches. Families are welcome to pick up meals at any of the junior high school locations (Dirksen-Midland Avenue, Gompers-Briggs Street, Hufford-Ingalls Avenue, Washington-Fourth Avenue).
