I-55 Shutdown After Crash: Illinois State Police Reveal What Happened In Troy Township

JOLIET, IL — The Illinois State Police has informed Joliet Patch that Monday morning's crash that has caused a traffic shutdown along southbound Interstate 55 at Interstate 80 in Joliet did not result in any injuries.
It happened around 6:30 a.m.
According to the agency, ISP Troop 3 responded to the location above for the three-vehicle property damage only crash involving a White Ford, Blue Ford, and a Black Hyundai.

The right two lanes are closed while tow services are on scene removing the vehicles from the lanes. Fire department arrived but no injuries were reported on scene. The crash remains under investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
