An eyewitness identified the teenage firebug, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A teen torched a dumpster full of trash on Bellarmine Drive Tuesday afternoon, police said.
An eyewitness described the teenage firebug and the cops reportedly tracked him down about 1:30 p.m.
The 33-year-old man told officers he watched as the teen tossed a flaming bag into the Waste Management dumpster, setting off the blaze.
After officers took the 16-year-old into custody, they returned him to the scene of the crime and the witness identified him as the firestarter, police said.
The youth was taken to River Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
