Estranged Husband's Ex-Gal Pal Allegedly Sent Wife Penis Pump, Herpes Pamphlet

An Evergreen Park woman allegedly had a penis pump and a pamphlet about genital herpes — among other things — sent to the estranged wife of her ex-boyfriend.

Jennifer Obecunas, 37, was charged with disorderly conduct.

The Joliet police provided no information about the circumstances of Obecunas’ supposed crime, but a Joliet woman claiming she was tormented for more than a month filed court papers detailing the alleged harassment.

“Between April 10, 2015, and May 25, 2015, I had been receiving mail,” the 37-year-old woman wrote in a petition.

“They were sending me letters, pamphlets on genital herpes, depression, mental illness, materials to save my soul, I received a penis pump in the mail,” said the woman, who also told how she was flooded with unsolicited email and telephone calls.

“Someone had given them my name, phone number, birthday, address” and two email addresses, the woman said.

The woman said she obtained an IP address to track down who was doing this to her and provided it to the police.

The woman also said her husband, who lives in Lockport, is divorcing her.

The woman said the Joliet police informed her nearly two weeks ago that they had built a case against Obecunas.
