Ex-Con Pulls Gun on Girlfriend’s Former Lover - Who was Playing at Park With His Kids: Cops
The police said they tracked the ex-con down and found his gun and drugs.

JOLIET, IL — An ex-convict pulled a gun on his girlfriend’s former lover as the man played in a park with his children, police said.
Parolee Johnnie Jones, 22, pulled the silver handgun out of a green backpack when he encountered his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend at Gottschlag Park Sunday afternoon, police said.
Another man grabbed Jones’ arm before he could point his gun at the 25-year-old former boyfriend, police said.

The ex-boyfriend, who was at the park with his three children, called the cops and they found Jones at his East Cass Street home, police said. The police also allegedly found the loaded gun inside the backpack, 54 Xanax pills, cocaine and marijuana.
Jones was taken into custody and as he was escorted out of his home, he kicked a cop, police said.
Jones was then carted off to the Will County jail.

Jones was released from prison in April, according to Department of Corrections records. He did time for domestic battery, aggravated domestic battery and burglary.
