Fugitive Killer Captured in Texas Arrives in Joliet: Cops
He murdered an 85-year-old man two years ago, police said.

Jesus Larosa, 47, was captured Wednesday in the parking lot of a Dallas Walmart, police said. Larosa made a run for it in March after an acquaintance tipped him to a warrant for his arrest, police said.
Larosa was booked into the Will County jail early Saturday morning.
Larosa viciously beat and strangled Alfred Hilton in May 2014, police said. Sheriff’s deputies sent to Hinton’s Crete home after the old man missed a church event found him dead on his kitchen floor.
Larosa took off for Alabama when he found out the cops had a warrant for his arrest, police said. It was not clear how or when Larosa headed from Alabama to Texas, but the law reportedly searched for him in both states, as well as in Georgia.
Larosa’s bond was set at $3 million.
Larosa had already served 20 years in prison for a prior murder conviction. He was on parole when Hilton was murdered.
