Gas Station Bandits Struck at Joliet BP
Police are exploring whether the Sunday stickup might be related to two the previous day in the southern part of the county.

JOLIET, IL — The day before three gunmen held up gas stations in Wilmington and Dwight, four bandits struck at a BP station in Joliet.
City police are investigating whether the robbery at the BP on Riverboat Center Drive might be connected to the two Saturday afternoon stickups.
In Joliet, the crooks struck shortly before 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Two of the thieves went around the counter and announced they were robbing the place while the other two hung back by the door. When a male customer tried to intervene, one of the robbers pulled a handgun.
