Getting Lippy in Law Library Lands Lady in Jail: Cops

She had problems with a courthouse law library employee and the deputies who told her to go, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A Manteno woman was locked up after she got into it with a courthouse law library employee and the deputies who told her to take off, police said.

Robin Bright, 57, was booked into the Will County jail Thursday but only spent about six hours there before she was released on her own recognizance.

Bright “got into a verbal altercation and refused to comply with directives” while she was at the law library in the Will County courthouse, police said.

Deputies showed up and asked her to leave, according to police, but Bright refused to do so.
