Gunfire Erupts During Altercation at Gas Station: Cops
Two men were arrested in connection with the incident.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man opened fire and shot out a restaurant window during an altercation at a West Jefferson Street gas station, police said.
Two men were arrested in connection with the 2 a.m. Saturday incident at the Marathon station on Jefferson Street and Salem Drive. Marcus Lopez, 19, was taken to the Will County jail after a trip to the hospital. Michael Lopez, 26, was released on his own recognizance.
The Lopezes walked up on a 30-year-old man at the gas station, police said, and “yelled and were aggressive” as they approached.

The man pushed Marcus Lopez, police said, prompting him to go his car, grab a handgun and open fire.
Marcus Lopez shot three times but missed the man who had pushed him, police said. Marcus Lopez reportedly succeeded in putting a bullet through the window of Baba's Famous Steak & Lemonade across the street.
