Gunman Wanted For August Shooting Near Church Apprehended: Cops
The former Joliet resident was living down in Decatur, police said.

Duan Lewis, 22, was arrested and jailed on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm, the unlawful use of a weapon and possessing a weapon as a felon.
Lewis, a former Joliet resident who moved down to Decatur, allegedly fired on an unidentified man in August. Lewis carried out the gun attack near Christ Temple Apostolic Church on Richards Street, according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court.
In July 2012, Lewis lashed out at a Rent-A-Center employee who refused to rent him a video game console. When he was denied the console, Lewis erupted with a vulgar outburst and threatened to return to the Rent-A-Center to “get” people.
Lewis was sentenced to three days in jail and conditional discharge. The conditional discharge was later revoked.
The warrant for Lewis’ arrest in connection with the alleged gun attack carried a $250,000 bond.
