Gunmen Riddled Saturn With Bullets as Teen Sat Inside Vehicle
The 16-year-old emerged from the attack unscathed.

JOLIET, IL — Two gunmen riddled a Saturn with bullets as a 16-year-old boy sat inside the vehicle.
The two shooters and their getaway driver remain at large.
Police officers were called to Morgan Street near Illinois Street about 7:30 p.m. Sunday to investigate multiple reports of shots fired.
The officers found a maroon Saturn parked in the alley that had been struck by numerous bullets. Soon after, the 16-year-old approached the officers and told them he had been in the vehicle when it was shot up.

The teen was not injured in the attack, police said.
Two houses near the car were also hit by bullets.
