Guy Who Really Likes Going to City Council Meetings Can’t Go Anymore For Allegedly Threatening Cop
He's still in jail anyway.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man who regularly attended and spoke at city council meetings has been forbidden to go anymore since he was charged with threatening a detective.
Will County Judge Carmen Goodman made the prohibition a condition of 32-year-old Christopher Pedersen’s bond, according to court records. That bond was set at $100,000 and Pedersen has yet to post it to get out of jail.
Pedersen was arrested Thursday on charges of threatening a public official, telephone harassment and disorderly conduct. He allegedly called the mayor’s office and left a threatening voicemail for a detective assigned to City Hall.

In the voicemail, Pedersen told the detective he was “about to meet his Smith & Wesson,” according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.
Prior to his arrest, Pedersen regularly attended city council meetings and participated during the public comments.
