House Raided By Joliet Police, Cocaine And Gun Found: JPD
At the time of the search warrant, Francisco Ortiz, 28, exited the house and was placed into custody without incident, Joliet police said.

JOLIET, IL — A 28-year-old Joliet resident is now facing several felonies as a result of the Joliet Police Department's raid on his house around lunchtime on Friday.
Officers took Francisco Ortiz to the police station, where he was arrested and released on a Notice to Appear on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, following an extensive investigation conducted by the Joliet Police Department Narcotics Unit, officers executed a search warrant at the house in the 1400 block of Fairview Avenue at 11:38 a.m.

Officers recovered cocaine, a handgun and equipment and materials used in the packaging of narcotics for sale, police said.
