JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man broke into his sleeping ex-girlfriend’s home and brutally beat her as he tore her hair out of her head, police said.
Antwon Flakes, 25, allegedly slipped inside his 23-year-old ex’s Juniper Avenue home and crept up to her second-story bedroom.
The girlfriend, who was sleeping with a 2-year-old daughter she has with Flakes, woke to find him standing over her bed, police said. She reportedly asked him what he was doing there but he did not respond and he appeared intoxicated.
